 Established in 1864 by French pioneer J.D. Féraud, Monte Christo is the birthplace of Central Otago wine. Today, the Paris family are stewards of this historic site in Clyde where the region’s first grapes were grown and first wines produced.

With 22 hectares of organically farmed vineyards across the Alexandra Basin, Bannockburn and Pisa regions, Monte Christo Winery produces predominantly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, along with other regional grape varieties, that emphasize elegance over power.
